Abstract: |
The commercial ultrafiltration membranes are usually prepared by the phase inversion method. The phase inversion needs an appropriate solvent to form casting solution. Chitosan is a kind of natural polymer material with a good hydrophilic and antibacterial property, which can be used for the preparation of ultrafiltration membrane. But the solubility of chitosan in organic solvents limits its application in ultrafiltration membrane. The progress of chitosan ultrafiltration membrane was stated in view of the solvent selection. |
