Abstract: |
Polyethersulphone (PES) ultrafiltration membrane was prepared through immerse precipitation phase inversion method by using PES as membrane material, N,N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) as solvent, polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP-58000), triblock copolymer (Pluronic F127) and copolymer of vinyl acetate and N-vinyl pyrrolidone (P(vp-co-va)-50000) as polymer additives. The effects of the additive type on membrane performance were investigated. Results demonstrated that the modified PES ultrafiltration membrane containing 2% Pluronic F-127 showed the optimal separation performance. The pure water flux was over 578.4 L/(m2•h), which is greatly higher than that of the pristine membrane, and the BSA rejection was over 96.7%. What’s more, the hydrophilicity and antifouling of the modified membrane were improved significantly. |
