Abstract:
Using hollow fiber ceramic membrane as carrier and poly (aryl ether ketone) as polymer precursor, composite carbon membrane was prepared by combination of dip coating and phase transformation. The effects of preparation parameters on structure and performance of composite carbon membranes were investigated. The results showed that the concentration of casting solution and the pulling rate had a great influence on the integrity of the membrane. Under the conditions of 15% concentration of casting solution and 2cm/min pulling rate, the composite carbon membrane with complete and uniform surface membrane layer and high gas permeation rate could be prepared. By controlling the evaporation temperature and time in the precursor membrane preparation process, the defects of the composite carbon membrane separation layer were greatly reduced and the gas separation selectivity was significantly improved. The O2/N2, CO2/N2 and CO2/CH4 of the composite carbon membrane prepared under the evaporation time of 10s and evaporation temperature of 60℃ were 5.62, 26.27 and 25.10 respectively, and the permeation rates of O2 and CO2 were 252 and 1177 GPU respectively.
