Abstract: |
Silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic membrane is widely used in dust-containing gas treatment process due to its excellent properties such as high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. However, the ceramic membranes prepared from silicon carbide particles has the characteristics of low porosity, resulting in low gas permeance. Ceramic fiber membrane is composed of ceramic fiber, which has good gas permeance and high porosity. In this study, silicon carbide fiber is used to prepare the membrane. Through the investigation of the effects of sintering temperature, content of silicon carbide fiber and spraying times on the properties of the membrane, the defect-free silicon carbide fiber membrane was obtained at the sintering temperature of 1150 ℃. The average pore diameter of the membrane was 7.0 μm and the gas permeance was 448 m3/(m2·h·kPa). In addition, the rejection rate of the membrane to PM0.3 was higher than 99.9%, the filtration pressure drop was less than 0.57 kPa, and had a good membrane-based binding force. |
